Image processing and electromagnetic modeling applied to radar remote sensing: relief reconstruction, roughness mapping, subsurface imaging. Comparative study between arid areas on Earth (Sahara, Central Asia) and planetary surfaces (Venus, Mars, Titan). Use of low frequency SAR in desert regions for subsurface moisture detection and geology mapping.
